Ten on Tuesday (97)

There is a theme this week, which means that I didn’t come up with the questions. These “would you rather” questions are from Rachel at Rachel Heather.
I’m going to do my best not to say “neither” on any of these since that’s cheating.
WOULD YOU RATHER:
1. eat chocolate covered grasshoppers or this freaky squid thing?
Well that squid is the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen, so I’d have to say the chocolate covered grasshoppers.
2. never see another movie or never watch TV again?
Never see another movie again. That’s easy. I’ll miss my favorite chick flicks but I’ve seen them so much I can just replay them in my head whenever I need to.
3. be a superhero with a lame power or a supervillain with an awesome power?
Superhero with a lame power. Because then I could just pretend I’m a normal human being and then occasionally bust out my “lame” power and impress all of my normal friends.
4. eat only salty snacks for the rest of you life, or only sweet snacks?
Only eat sweet. I love sweets. Plus, too much salt hurts my mouth and makes my fingers swollen. That’s just uncomfortable.
5. never read another book or never hear another song?
That’s a really tough one but I think I’ll go with the book. I’d miss books but there are other things you could read. No music would be tough. I doubt I would miss that current hits, but there would be a lot of music I’d miss. That would mean no worship music, no Christmas music, no country music. Sad.
6. be a whale carcass remover or a sewer inspector?
Ugh. My computer is running slow and not wanting to let me open these links. My brother actually did an internship one summer where he worked in manholes. He said it was the worst thing he’s ever done. But I don’t feel like I have a good grasp on the whale thing. Whale thing. Final answer.
7. have no electricity or no running water?
I live in Texas… OH THE HEAT. Definitely without running water. I’d just go to my parents’ house to shower and, you know, potty.
8. be a dog or a cat?
It totally depends on my owners. If my owner was a crazy cat lady, then I’d rather be a cat. If I had some owner that made me run all the time, I don’t think I’d enjoy that life as a dog. Most likely, I’d like to be a dog.
9. always be hot or always be cold?
Hot. HOT. A thousand times hot.
10. be forced to watch all 3 High School Musicals on an endless loop, or the Twilight movies?
Twilight. As someone who watches Elmo videos on a regular basis, I can tell you that there is nothing worse than getting obnoxious songs stuck in your head. Plus, so much of the Twilight movies are spoken so soft that you could ignore them.

I wish I had been recording my reaction when I first watched the squid video. I’m pretty sure it was hilarious.

I agree with the previous comments…the squid thing was super gross and made me gag just seeing it.

The squid thing was SO GROSS. That was the easiest one to answer because as soon as I saw it, I said NO WAY!

The whale carcass remover picture was terrifying, I hope I’m never so unfortunate to be stuck with either of those jobs, wow.
Also, I might sadly say that I’d stick with High School Musical on a loop because I think Kristen Stewart’s voice for the rest of my life would be like living hell. I think I’d get used to HSM music or something and just sing along and feel merry forever instead of ‘oh no my life is nothing because Edward has run away boo hoo’
These questions are awesome though lol!

I’m with you on the grasshoppers. Not only is the squid thing disgusting, but chocolate. You could pretend it’s just crunchy, maybe?

I am going to go against the grain and say the squid thing was interesting more than gross. But then again it wasn’t sitting in front of me in a bowl at a restaurant where you’re expected to eat it and enjoy it and not make gagging noises as you do so.
And the chocolate covered grasshopper isn’t so bad. A little disturbing to think about as you’re doing it (yes, I’ve done it!) but not bad. It reminded me of a Nestle Crunch bar. Though, it took me a while to crave another crunch bar after that.

1. the squid… it’s only “dancing” b/c the liquid is acidic (like lemon juice.) and I don’t mind eating squid normally.
2. Never see another movie again. there are too many TV shows i love.
3. supervillan with an awesome power :-D
4. salty. i could LIVE on chips and queso/salsa.
5. never hear another song. there is no way i would be able to go without reading.
6. be a whale carcass remover. i am not squeamish. plus, i’ve been around dead sea aniamls before.
7. no water. it’s Florida. A/C is a MUST!

10. I’d have to go with Twilight as the lesser of two evils. I HATE the HSM movies.
