Ha, yes, Post Potter Depression… it is real! I’m so glad you love this series so much, it really is fantastic and J.K. Rowling is a tremendous author!

Glad you enjoyed them! They truly are magical!! You read the books over several months; many of us read the books over nearly a decade. It was unfathomably bittersweet to finish the series and again so beautifully heartbreaking to watch the final movie. Have fun at HP world, though! It is a wonderful place! I highly recommend getting a frozen butterbeer and a pumpkin juice. Visit the owl post office, eat at the three broomsticks, and of course you must wander through the castle! Dang, now I want to go back for another visit!

I’ve reread the Harry Potter series every time a new book in the series came out. They are SOOOO good!! I recently started to reread the Left Behind series by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins. It’s a long series and is also really really good. I highly recommend them for your next reading pleasure I hope y’all are doing well!

I am so glad you loved the books. The characters will always be “real ” people to me. J.K. Rowling is every reading teacher’s dream, believe me! One of my school moms was the first manager of B & N when it opened, and she brought me the advance copy of HP before it was released in the US. She told me it was flying off the shelves in the UK and wanted me to see what all the fuss was about. I read it was was hooked! Do you know what it is like to for a teacher to have a class full of 5th graders BEG you for reading time? My classroom would be totally silent when they were reading, and I would have to force them to put the book down. Bliss…sheer bliss. Wonderful writing, magical story line, memorable characters. Who could ask for more? She made my life as a reading teacher the stuff dreams are made of. Sigh…
