The Cardboard Diet: Week 3

Yep. I’m still a Cardboard Dieter. I will be until Lauren says, “Ugh, Chelsea. You’re doing it wrong. Please stop.”

Weigh In
Welp. I gained a pound. My weight goes up and down a few pounds regularly, so I’m not going to look too much into it. I’d really just rather it be on the lower end of that on the day of the week that I weigh myself. IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK?

Exercise Completed
I hate this question. I took one walk around the neighborhood and did one session of yoga. Also, I lift a 30 pound child on a regular basis.

Splurge/Guilty Pleasure
We went to Galveston over the weekend and one of my friends make this incredible chocolate chip cookie dough dip. It’s a cream cheese based dip and it is SO GOOD. There was some leftover so I brought it home. I have had a spoonful each evening.

Success Story
When we were packing up the fridge/freezer from Galveston, I left the three tubs of ice cream there. That’s a pretty huge deal. Also, I have been eating fruit and veggies for snack at work instead of animal crackers or Oreos.

Recipes
My recipe is for snack grapes. You’re welcome.

Buy grapes. Wash the grapes. Dry the grapes. Now here is the secret to delicious snack grapes: Take the grapes off the stems. That way it is easy to pop them in your mouth. You don’t have to think about pulling each grape off the stem and checking it to see if it acceptable.

I’m running, for Pete’s sake, and still can’t lose weight!

Have you ever tried those babies frozen?

Love your nail polish, by the way.

I feel like sometimes I gain a pound just in time for my weigh-in day. Like, on Monday I’m down, and then on my weigh-in day (Wednesday) I’m back up! Can be a bit frustrating but I try not to sweat it as long as the overall trend is right.
    Grapes are good!

Greatest recipe of all time! LOL Seriously girl, don’t sweat the one pound, you’ll starting losing soon! Plus, doesn’t muscle weigh more than fat? Maybe you’re just gaining muscle!

I’m definitely going to be trying out that recipe ;) I totally agree with your first commenter too – frozen grapes are awesome, although I’m sure they wouldn’t be a great work snack idea since they would probably melt.
    You’re my fave CBDieter :)
