Head over to Lauren’s blog to see all the other CB Diet participants. I can’t find the code for the image, so use your imagination.
I weighed myself on Wednesday night again. I know I know. I’m up two pounds, leaving my total weight loss at 3 pounds. I’m not shocked. I knew that the 5 pound weight loss wasn’t from actual real work (I mean, let’s just be honest), it was from a terrible stomach virus that took two weeks to fully recover from. Now if I’m not careful, that number will keep going up. The next couple weeks will be the actual true test to see if I’m taking this “diet” seriously.
Um, none. I’m full of excuses. (Worst CB Dieter ever.) This weekend we went to Schlitterbahn and I feel like that was a decent workout. Nothing too strenuous or anything, but better than sitting around. We were constantly walking, swimming, or paddling so that at least burned a fair amount of calories. And now I have a cold. It’s the kind of cold where your face hurts when you bend over. Really I’m just being a baby, I need to work out.
We ate a lot of cookies this weekend. Also, I’m about to eat a Reese’s Egg. I bought some after Easter on clearance and keep them in my freezer for cravings.
Nothing specific this week, but I am proud of the dinners I make. In general, they are pretty healthy. Last night we had teriyaki marinated chicken with brown rice and pineapple. I wouldn’t say it was the most delicious thing I’ve ever made, but it wasn’t bad and I feel good about feeding that to my family.
Make these. I don’t think I’ve posted this before, but if I have, it’s because I love you. My friend Molly posted a recipe for teriyaki turkey lettuce wraps. I have never liked ground turkey… ever, but these are good!
My sister made us chicken tacos last week. They were pretty (and pretty healthy) so I took a picture. Ignore the plops of sour cream. First, it was reduced fat sour cream and second, a taco is not a taco until there is sour cream on top!
