I didn’t make a list on Friday, so it is totally acceptable to make one today. Right? Phew!

I hate quite a nasty migraine last week. I would get some relief every now and then but then it would come back and make me want to cry. I am so so glad it is gone and it didn’t ruin my weekend.

I cleaned out my kitchen on Friday. Every drawer and cabinet was emptied. I still need to do clean out the pantry and figure out a better organization system. I’m pretty much the only one who uses it, so I just need to be sure it works for me. I cleaned out my spice cabinet. Holy toledo! Gross. I threw away SO many expired spices. There were things that expired in 2010! It’s all cleared out and the important things have been replaced.

Jansen has decided it is fun to make me go to sleep. He’ll say, “I push Mommy to bed” and guide me to my room. When we get in there he says, “Mommy, turn off light!”
So I’ll turn it off. He makes me get in bed and then put my covers on. Then he comes to the side of the bed and says my prayers. “Mommy daddy. Jack and Jansen. Amen.” Then he turns to Rookie and in a voice that humans use for dogs, he says, “Night night Rooks!!!” It’s the cutest thing in the world.

I’m so addicted to Julep. Maybe addicted is the wrong word. What I’m trying to say is that I’m extremely obsessed with how gorgeous their colors are. I skipped January because none of the colors spoke to me. I planned to skip February but then I saw that one of the colors is this beautiful burnt orange… and you know how I feel about burnt orange. So I changed my profile to Boho Glam to get that color and decided not to skip. It looks like it’ll be free since I have enough points to cover it! Whoo hoo! The only thing better than beautiful nail polish is free beautiful nail polish!

Did you know that Sperry’s have lovely ballet flats? Well they do! And I have some. I got them on Friday at the outlets. The are cheetah print and have gold glitter toes. You’re jealous. I also got some Toms ballet flats for Christmas from Santa, but they don’t fit. I need to exchange them for another size. Do any of you have any of their ballet flats? How do you feel about the way they fit? These seem a bit stiff, do they break in?
Thanks for the Sperry tip. I seriously love my Sperry’s and got a pair for Christmas but I had no clue they have ballet flats. I think they are the most comfortable shoe. I’m going to their website now to check them out:)

I feel like my Tom’s ballet flats are a little too stiff as well. They get better once I wear them, but at first they aren’t comfortable
